Overview
Real safari, privately guided
Let hosts John (Barclay) and James (Stenner) guide you on an incredible adventure exploring truly wild areas of Botswana. The ultimate private safari experience for family and friends.
Their private camp harks back to the overland expeditions led by John’s great great grandfather who escorted royalty across the region, a handsome set up of canvas tents, brass four-poster beds, Persian rugs, campaign furniture and oil lanterns with a few select modern luxuries.
Completely mobile, it can be set up almost anywhere with no one else in sight, making the most of seasonal conditions and wildlife movements in the Okavango Delta, Kalahari and Makgadikgadi Pans. For multi-day itineraries, the camp moves with you as you explore.
With your very own guides, vehicle, chef and host team, spend your days as you feel, whether you want to rise before the sun for a full day out in the bush on drives and walks or opt for a relaxed start after a late night under the stars enjoying the antique drinks cabinet.

Community & Culture
Barclay Stenner have established a trust that helps young people from the surrounding communities to study hospitality in Botswana and South Africa. The goal is to help empower the communities by educating them about conservation and business, as well as help create long-lasting job opportunities.
Footprint
Because the camp can be quickly packed up, it leaves a very light footprint, leaving the environment as it was found each time the camp moves on. The camp uses eco-friendly solar power systems, all plastic used at camp is recycled, and reusable water bottles help to reduce waste.
