Situated right in the heart of Quito's historic centre on San Francisco Plaza, Casa Gangotena makes the perfect base from which to explore Ecuador’s capital. Step outside and witness the sheer beauty of Quito and many of its most popular historical sights which are right on the doorstep including Plaza Santo Domingo and the Presidential Palace.
This exquisitely transformed 1920s mansion has 31 luxury rooms and they all benefit from the mansion’s tall, elegant ceilings which draw the bright Andean sunlight into their interiors.
The hotel features wonderful spaces for different moods and times of day: a garden-patio brimming with native plants, a dining room ideal for enjoying refined culinary experiences or simply people watching in the square beyond, and a roof-top terrace with wrap-around views is an unbeatable spot to watch the frequent religious and cultural events on the square below.
