COMO The Treasury

Overview

A welcome space to call home while exploring Perth

Each of COMO Hotels and Resorts properties has its own unique spirit, while focusing on excellent cuisine, meaningful wellness, contemporary design, local culture and the environment. COMO The Treasury is no different. Its 48 elegant rooms and suites provide a welcome space to call home while exploring Perth. It features the building’s original high ceilings, cornicing and balconies. Some of the rooms offer views of Cathedral Square, the city, Stirling Gardens or the Swan River.

Your dining needs are taken care of at the hotel’s two restaurants. At the modern Wildflower on the rooftop you can enjoy contemporary dishes inspired by the indigenous six season while admiring the views over the city and the Swan River. Italian osteria Post offers you a modern twist on Italian classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu changes according to what ingredients are in season. You can also settle into one of the three stylish rooms at The Treasury Lounge and Bar. If you’re looking for meals rich in living enzymes, vitamins and minerals, the COMO Shambhala menu includes raw food and vegetarian dishes. They’re available at post, as well as for in-room dining.

Community & Culture

As a whole COMO Hotels and Resorts have positioned themselves as custodians of the destinations they have properties in rather than managers. With that comes a commitment to celebrate local culture, support the domestic economy and have a minimal impact on the environment. COMO The Treasury works with organisations like Youth Focus and Lifeline to help to improve mental wellbeing within the wider community. They have also built good relationships with the companies and farmers who supply them with bedding, tableware, art and seasonal produce. Their partnerships with the local communities also mean that they are able to offer authentic experiences and tours, and support local projects where they see a need.

Footprint

One way they are helping to reduce their carbon footprint is by building their menus around seasonal ingredients that can be sourced around Western Australia instead of further afield. Filtering and bottling their own drinking water in glass bottles on site means they have been able to reduce their consumption of single-use plastic dramatically.
