    Turtle conservation

Endangered hawksbill and green turtles come ashore to nest on the resort’s beaches between October and February. Under the supervision of Lemuria’s Turtle Manager, guests can have the unique experience of watching the females come up on the beach to lay and later see the baby turtles move down to the sea.

Conservation

Guests and community members, including the next generation of locals, are regularly invited for planting activities in neighbouring mangroves. Grande Anse Kerlan at Constance Lemuria in Seychelles remains the number one beach on Praslin Island. Here, guests can find out about the ongoing turtle conservation project.

Thanks to a range of initiatives, Constance Lemuria has held a Green Globe Certification since 2013, and a Gold member since 2018.
