Overview
Private Mobile Safaris
Hosted by husband-and-wife team, Rob Barber and Charlotte Bennett-Diver, Golden Africa Safaris offers a luxury five-star mobile safari camp experience all around Botswana – from the world-renowned Okavango Delta, the elephant-dense Chobe National Park, to the immense and remote Central Kalahari, and the predator-filled Savuti Marshes.
Meru canvas style tents, spread out evenly to provide ample privacy, are beautifully furnished with large twin or super king steel frame double beds, 400 thread count cotton percale linen and ensuite bathrooms. Each tent interior has been locally designed with an eave of canvas to form a shaded veranda with camp chairs and table perfect to take in the amazing views with an early morning tea or coffee.
The communal lounge and dining areas at Golden Africa Safaris’ camps are set up in a mess tent, just a short stroll from the guest accommodation. The mess features comfortable seating to form a lounge and a large table to create a communal dining area. The camp’s fire-pit is another great venue for socialising, with guests and guides sharing stories of their safari day.
