Community & Culture
Karisia have actively supported the local communities they work with by employing local people and training them in tourism, farm management, security and mechanics. The safaris also pays conservation fees to the local communities, providing dry season grazing and helping educate some young students at local schools.
Footprint
Besides active wildlife management Karisia also try to make decisions that don’t cause harm for wildlife such as; organically farming many of the vegetables and herbs are used on safari, eliminating one time use plastic water bottles, and minimizing water use to save as much as possible for the land and the animals that depend on it.
