Overview
Off-the-beaten track authenticity
Set on the remote, sun-drenched Larache coast in north-west Morocco, La Fiermontina is an extraordinary property with a deep-rooted respect for the authenticity of the region and its rural communities.
Choose from a selection of charming one- and two-bedroom suites, as well as three-bedroom villas, each seamlessly blending into the surrounding landscape, clad in stone with private gardens. All feature large panoramic windows and ocean-facing terraces with large infinity pools. You also have the option of experiencing a unique stay in one of the four stone houses built using ancient techniques in the small village of Dchier, just 800 metres from the hotel entrance, with views of the valley.
Enjoy some pampering at the spa, which also features a Hammam, yoga area, and café serving Moroccan teas and infusions. The lounge restaurant offers ocean views and specialises in Italian and traditional Moroccan fare featuring ingredients from the kitchen garden. Enjoy a drink on the suspended terrace, or a Cuban cigar in the lounge. The property also has a beach club on a secluded part of the coastline, where you can enjoy freshly caught fish, salads and cocktails.

Community & Culture
La Fiermontina Ocean promotes direct interactions with the landscape and the people who inhabit it, whilst protecting culture and traditions. The property started a community development project to revitalise villages that had almost disappeared by providing water, roads, education and training, fostering the birth of local cooperatives, sustainable agricultural initiatives and tourism-based on social and solidarity economy.
Conservation
Nature is so important to La Fiermontina Ocean, which has laid the foundations for the regional nature park - The Dunes of Khemis Sahel, with the support of the Fondation Orient-Occident and local authorities. The aim of the park is to preserve the region's ecosystem and protect its coastal dunes. Since 2018, it has committed to the reforestation of 10 hectares of land, introducing thousands of olive trees, a large orchard and a vegetable garden with seasonal crops.
Footprint
The houses, suites and villas of La Fiermontina Ocean are built with natural local materials such as wood and Tanza Stone. Electricity mostly comes from renewable sources, including solar panels. Low-usage LED lighting, organic toiletries and environmentally friendly cleaning products are used throughout, while waste is sorted and recycled with organic composting.
