Overview
Northern wilds
Linyanti Bush Camp is an intimate set up with excellent guiding situated on the banks of Linyanti Marsh in a private reserve bordering Chobe
Six spacious tents provide a classic under canvas safari experience with private deck areas where you can sit and gaze out over the river and marshes beyond. As the only water source for miles around, they attract an incredible array of animal and birdlife.
An elevated communal area at the heart of the camp has a cosy lounge, library bar, dining area and plunge pool, all with panoramic views of the Linyanti landscape. The area is best known for its large populations of elephants and buffaloes that congregate in vast numbers during the dry season. Other wildlife you’ll likely encounter on drives include lions, leopards, African wild dogs, the rare and elusive sitatunga antelope, hippos and crocodiles.

Community & Culture
The African Bush Camps Foundation, which your stay directly supports, are committed to sustainable development, through creating opportunities that empower rural communities located in vulnerable wildlife areas in Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia.
It runs multiple projects that focus on addressing challenges that include unemployment, a lack of job opportunities, food scarcity, a lack of critical skills, poor education and health care infrastructure and resourcing, low school attendance, and dropouts due to financial constraints, wildlife poaching and preserving natural resources.
In Botswana, the foundation launched a female safari guide project that is targeted at creating job opportunities for local women as safari guides and bridging the gender divide in this traditionally male dominated career through skills training, mentorship, job shadowing, and rotations at African Bush Camps.
