Overview
Private family safari
South Africa’s premier malaria-free safari destination, Madikwe is known for its endangered predators, varied birdlife and breathtaking landscapes.
It is here that you’ll find Morukuru River House, where your personal chef, butler, private guide and tracker wait to ensure every aspect of your stay is memorable and exactly to your liking. There are no fixed schedules here, and with your own game drive vehicle on hand you can enjoy everything the region has to offer at your own pace. With three en suite bedrooms, it’s the ideal getaway for families and groups of friends of six.
In the house itself, contemporary European style blends beautifully with African individualism. Décor is minimalist with natural stone and wood echoing the surroundings. There’s a well-stocked wine cellar so your glass is never empty, a cozy library and a collection of digital entertainment.
Since it’s a malaria-free zone, children are welcome. Booster seats can be arranged. Your dedicated safari team includes an experienced guide ad tracker who can introduce your children to the wonders of the African bush.
