The elegany Si Datu Bua, meaning Beloved Princess, was crafted by Sulawesi’s master Konjo boat builders to exacting specifications to create a traditional phinisi sailing vessel with modern safety features and luxuries. A vessel tailored for adventure in the Indonesian Archipelago.
With three beautiful cabin suites and plenty of space for socializing on board, this is a great choice for families and groups. It's also fully kitted out with diving equipment, tenders for shore excursions and a wide variety of water sports toys.
And you'll be well looked after by a crew including a private chef, dive guide, expedition director, captain. Being a private charter, they're there to make your experience unforgettable, whether it’s a special dinner on an isolated beach, exploring a pristine reef above and below the water or hiking island interiors in search of dragons.

Diving
Si Datu Bua is a fully licensed and equipped PADI Dive Centre. All dives are guided by a fully-certified instructor who will be able to share their favourite dive sites with you in the incredibly biodiverse waters around Raja Ampat and Komodo. Whether experienced or just learning, you’ll get to marvel at the most pristine marine life in some of the world’s last unblemished coral reefs.

From water skiing and wake boarding, to kayaking, sport fishing, stand up paddling and snorkeling – there are plenty of water activities to get your adrenalin pumping. Take your pick from the water toys on board.

Wellness
Specialist can be brought on board to provide spa treatments, massages and yoga sessions. It’s the perfect way to ensure you’re left not only relaxed, but also revitalized. Treatments are inspired by traditional Balinese and Thai therapies, like hot stone, deep tissue and shambhala massage.
Community & Culture
Indonesian yacht broker Silolona Sojourns supports a number of local community projects, such as Yayasan Toraja Melo whose aim is to rejuvenate Indonesia’s indigenous arts and crafts while simultaneously improving the lives of local artists and farmers. Many of these crafts are found around the vessel.
Silolona Sojourns also supports Sanggar Alam Serang Dakko, in Makassar, where traditional culture, music and dancing are taught to children.
Conservation
Silolona Sojourns leads various cultural and scientific expeditions, in fact a new species of fish, Ambyglyphidodon silolona, was named after them by marine biologists Dr. Gerald R. Allen and Dr. Mark V. Erdmann of Conservation International. Silolona also supported Shawn Heinrichs of Blue Sphere Media with his films and work preserving the mantas in Indonesia. It also donates to the Misool Foundation which helps to safeguard some of the most biodiverse reefs in the world by empowering local communities.
There are ongoing field projects in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea which are running under the Indo-Pacific Conservation Alliance, a non-profit biodiversity conservation organisation.
Footprint
Bamboo sheets and towels are used and guests are offered water containers to reduce the need for plastic bottles. They also use bamboo straws. Soaps, shampoos and conditioners are made locally.
