Serengeti National Park

Singita Mara River Tented Camp

Overview

An intimate camp in untouched wilderness

You’ll find Singita Mara River Tented Camp set in a stunning remote area at the northernmost tip of Serengeti National Park. Its location means you’ll be surrounded by some of the highest concentrations of wildlife, with great views of the Mara River. The camp has been built with as minimal impact on its environment as possible, and as a result, you get to experience a remarkable closeness to nature.

There are six bohemian-chic tents which can accommodate up to 16 guests. Two of them are family tents and are made up of two tents joined by a covered walkway with a shared deck. The use of natural materials and lots of light, create spaces that are truly relaxing and inviting. Tents include en suite outdoor bathrooms with a viewing section in the screen wall so that you can even admire the views while soaking in your tub.

During the long rainy season in March and April the camp is closed, but the rest of the year offers fantastic game viewing, particularly from June onwards. It’s also a good spot to catch the migration between July and November.
