Join your professional guide and tracker for the opportunity to get up close to some of the continent’s most iconic animals. Spot lit night drives allow you to see some of the most elusive nocturnal creatures of the bush. While here keep a look out for white and black rhinos, Lichtenstein hartebeests, sables, nyalas, cheetahs, wild dogs, lions and leopards, as well as many more animals and an abundance of birds.

Walking safaris
This is an incredible way to experience the bush surrounding the lodge up close. Head out with your expert guide and tracker as you learn how to track animals on foot and learn about the landscape and plants of the region.

Fishing
The dam below the lodge offers excellent game fishing all year. Your guide will show you how the locals fish using plants found nearby. Your catch may include tiger fish, bass, bream (tilapia) and catfish.

Your views of the astounding African night skies are unrivalled here with very little pollution and no city lights. Stargazing safaris are a memorable addition to your stay.

Community visit

A visit to a local San Bushmen rock art site is both educational and fascinating. The artworks you’ll see date back tens of thousands of years and it’s a great way to learn about the ancient hunter-gatherers who lived in this region and their way of life.

Your expert sommelier will be able to find just the right fit for your tastes. Community & Culture
Guests can visit the Kambako Living History Museum to learn about local culture and heritage. Your guides will also be able to share with you how to respectfully engage with the local communities as you discover more about their music, dance and art. There are various heritage sites and historic monuments to visit.
An onsite Environmental Education Centres for school teachers and children allows them to immerse themselves in Outdoor Education and fieldwork, while the Trust’s nutrition programme provides 20,000 children with a fortifying meal before school every day in order to address increasing food insecurity in the region.
Conservation
Singita has partnered with the Mallilangwe Trust in Zimbabwe to help care for the Malilangwe Reserve and support scientific research as well as restore habitats. Funds also go towards funding anti-poaching teams.
Footprint
To help reduce their carbon footprint, there are various plans in place, including using climate-friendly transportation, reliable carbon offsets and renewable energy. They are also working towards reducing single-use plastics. While you’re here, you can learn about their sustainability practices.
