Overview
Breath taking river views
On the banks of the tranquil Thamalakane River, sits Thamalakane River Lodge, just 20 minutes’ drive from the hustle and bustle of Maun, it makes the perfect stopover enroute to the renowned Moremi Game Reserve.
The lodge’s 32 stone-and-thatch Babbler chalets, spread out in two wings on either side of the main area, feature ensuite bathrooms and open verandas. The interior walls are of stone, and furnishings are simple but comfortable, boasting mesmerising river views – where you can watch hippos, crocs and a wonderful array of birds.
Spend your days lounging by the quirky four-leaf clover-shaped pool, embark on a sunset river cruise and enjoy delicious meals in Thamalakane’s restaurant, on the terrace or by the pool.
