Intimate Zanzibari Luxury
Set on approximately nine acres of lush tropical gardens with 200 metres of beachfront, White Sands Villas' was built with luxury, comfort and private space in mind.
Zanzibar White Sands is the eco-friendly vision of one of east Africa’s most renowned architects, Neil Rocher, with stunning facilities designed to blend with the natural environment. Each of the 11 beautiful villas face the seafront and consists of two units connected by a garden with a terrace and private pool. The villas are spacious and simply furnished in light Scandinavian-style wood, with woven fabric rugs and eco lamps from New Zealand. The main part of the villa consists of a stunning high-ceiling lounge and dining area. The second part includes the bedroom featuring a king-size bed, dressing closet, and bathroom with a rain shower as well as an outdoor bathtub.
The stylish restaurant overlooks the main pool and serves up an international menu with Zanzibari flavours. Take a moment to relax in the tropical tranquil spa featuring waterfalls, a steam room and sauna, where therapists use local products from coconut to spices in the wide range of treatments.

Community & Culture
White Sands Villa partner with local producers to bring the best of Zanzibar to your room. Soaps and amenities are handcrafted locally by the team at Mwani Zanzibar, supporting the work of the community and the local know-how. Seaweed is picked daily on the beach, dried and processed in Paje. Fresh fish is delivered on the beach by fishermen directly to the hotel's chef.
Footprint
White Sands Villas' believe that ‘luxury shouldn’t cost the earth’, powered by solar and wind energy, with its own water source and recycling policies in place to ensure that they remain sustainably focused. In addition, most of the hotels' fresh produce is grown in their own garden on site; with over 20,000 plants in their care, the lush gardens are without a doubt one of the hotel's most precious gems.
