Days 1 — 4
Discover the Okavango Delta
Get your first introduction to the Okavango Delta on a scenic light aircraft flight from Maun to Little Vumbura, an intimate lodge set on an island surrounded by water. This corner of the Delta is a varied mosaic of floodplains, permanent channels and woodland that attracts an incredible diversity of wildlife which you can encounter on an exciting mix of land and water-based activities such as game drives, guided walks, mokoro canoe trips and boating excursions.
When you’re not out exploring, relax with a dip in the pool, enjoy spectacular sundowners and staring up at the stars to the distant sounds of lions calling.
Days 4 — 10
Private mobile safari in Moremi
And now the adventure really begins. Hop aboard another light aircraft to the Moremi region of the Delta. Your home for the next six nights is a fabulously romantic private camp that feels like stepping back to the time of the first Europeans who explored here over a century ago – traditional canvas tents, oil lamps, Persian carpets, campaign furniture and a fire. Your expert host and guide team will make the experience even more special.
Explore on foot, game drives and by boat, as you search for elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, rare wild dogs and much more, along with exceptional populations of birdlife. You’ll also get to spend a night fly camping on a remote island while the main camp moves to another contrasting location.
