Overview
Idyllic island hopping
An awesome marine adventure combining a private yacht-based exploration of the stunning Raja Ampat archipelago and a week at a remote diving resort surrounded by the most biodiverse coral reefs on the planet.
For the first week, hop between a string of idyllic islands aboard a luxury phinisi, dropping anchor to hike up to jungle interiors, visit fishing villages, dine on empty beaches and swim in lagoons, all looked after by an expert crew there to make the experience entirely your own.
Then sail to Misool, a small island hidden amid countless others that is home to an inspiring eco-resort and its very own marine reserve. Simply put, the diving and snorkelling sites here are some of the very best anywhere.
The yachts we love operating here range in size from ultra-romantic one-cabin phinisis to multi-suite vessels stocked with toys, making this a fabulous trip for couples or families and groups of friends.

Days 1 — 8
Raja Ampat Yacht Charter
Landing in Sorong on the western tip of the island of New Guinea, you will be met and taken aboard your home for the next week, a handsome yacht blending traditional ‘phinisi’ style with modern luxury and safety. For the next week, your captain and crew will guide you through the countless islands of the Raja Ampat archipelago, jungle-covered and emerging near vertically from electric blue waters.
Dive and snorkel on reefs and in lagoons, hike up to island summits for panoramic views, dine on remote beaches, watch the stars from deck – the days are yours as you island hop south to Misool.
Days 8 — 14
Marvel at Misool’s Marine Reserve
Misool is an island resort in the remote south of the Raja Ampat archipelago, 20km from the nearest village and hidden among uninhabited isles. It is surrounded by a private marine reserve larger than New York City’s five boroughs, which protects one of the richest coral-reef ecosystems on earth, with a diversity and quantity of life like nowhere else. The snorkelling – straight from your gorgeous overwater villa – and diving here are simply outstanding.
The shallow house reef is reason enough to visit, but there are some 60 sites nearby including a busy manta cleaning station, coral walls, reef flats, gentle sea mounts, drift dives, vast hard-coral gardens and placid lagoons. Above water, you can paddle board or kayak to private beaches, visit the stilt-village home of your guide, unwind with a massage, take an Indonesian cooking class and learn all about the founders’ work with the local community.
